um, thats about all the info i can think of. If you think that there are any other alternatives that you think i shoudl look at, i would REALLY appreciate. Thanks!

Which schools are you considering your safeties?

Might look at Trinity(Hartford) or Holy Cross-1 hour from Boston.

more safeties.

batman7:

UCLA: Match
UCB: Match
UCSD: Safe Match

UCLA is a match with ur most recent SAT score
UCB is looking good for you but since they have such competetive applicants that 2200 would really boost your chances (as of now UCB is a match but a 2200 would almost seal the deal)

as safties, i was thinking ucsd and maybe ucla. also george washington.

I think you have a shot at Yale (not very high, but that can be basically said about the majority who apply there), but you HAVE to raise that SAT I score up and give them something unique on the essays. Just apply and see what happens; you never know; your dreams and ambition may take you up to compete for a spot in admission. Best of luck to you.

Yale and Brown are highly unlikely with your scores. You need another 100 points in each of cr and math to be a reasonable candidate at Yale and 75 points higher on each for Brown.

thanks. i know i need to raise my sat scores, thats what im really working on for the october sat. the vote of confidence is really appreciated. is there anything else you think i should try to do better or make more of on my resume besides test scores? well, anything i can do between now and december.

For Yale, I strongly reccomend you retake the SAT.

The SAT score would be a little on the lower end for Georgetown, as they will not be accepting the writing score.

Yale - Reach
Brown - Reach
Georgetown - Reach
George Washington - Safety
UCLA - Match
UC Berkeley - Match
UC San Diego - Safety
Carleton - Match
Swarthmore - Match (they'll look more for personality, so make sure your essays are insightful)
