Essay: considerably strong, talked about how after I saw Bizet's Carmen, I turned to meditation
Teachers' and Counselor's Recs: Fairly good, one much better than the other two though.
Also, under common app for hobbies and personal response, I put playing dominoes with the family, considering it was something I was heavily involved in [5hrs/wk, 52wks/yr.]
Work Exp: 15-20 hrs/wk since mid August to present </p>

<p>hmmm, you would pose good shots at most if you get your SAT's up to about 2200+ or so, other than that, just hope you have good interviews.</p>

<p>no, u have absolutly no hope at any of those schools...looks like its Arizona State for you....night, night, keep your butt hole tight</p>

<p>Peg007 It's Soooooo tough to predict. The schools don't always pick "the brightest and the best" My D had 1400 on SAT and a 3.7 cum (minority status & lots of community service) and got accepted at 6 out of 8 schools. Drew kept trying to recruit her and F&M offered a full scholarship. (She does poorly on standardized tests so she took the no SAT option at any school she could). She had friends with 2000+ SATs, 4.0+ and AP and college courses who didn't get in to IVY's and some selective privates. Inteviews and visits were very helpful, some told her right up front her chances were good and ball park figures on scholarships or that they had concerns
My advice, start "sucking up" to the admission counselors for each school. Find out the name and number (or e-mail) of each admission counselor that handles your geographic area - begin asking some general questions, then ask the "what are my chances" and "what do you recommend to improve my changes" kinds of questions.
Each school will lay out for you how they prioritize, as most important and less important, each of the categories of qualifications you've listed. Also, they seem to sense if "you REALLY want to go there"...some will call you at home and ask you where they are (like top three) on YOUR list. Also , think how nice it would be go to a school that recruits and REALLY WANTS YOU !...keep and open mind ;-)

<p>Of course there is hope! Take a look at your stats and realize that you will get accepted into many amazing places, and you will be happy and successful wherever you decided to attend.</p>
