<p>you seem like you have a very good chance at JMU. My son, OOS, NY, was accepted, last year, and attending. 1240/1600 SAT, 3.5UW GPA, 2 AP's and similar EC's. JMU accepts a lot of OOS, it seems they like our OOS tuition. Good Luck. He really likes it there, also.</p>

<p>We didn't do anything special to get in. Although, he did email his JMU Regional admissions counselor, to say hello and make sure his application was complete, and the SAT scores were received and all that. If you look at the JMU website, find admissions and look for the name and email address of the NJ admissions counselor.
