(The reason for my low grades is the fact that I got in a huge car accident the summer before junior year and was preoccupied and missed school due to surgeries and hospital stays. I hope to make this evident in my essays)

I really have no idea. As you know, your grades are way too low, but you have extenuating circumstances. Have your guidance counselor explain those circumstances, apply, and pray the admissions officer is enjoying his or her day.

EDIT: No need to take the SAT I. Your 34 is fine.

Thanks. Do you know how much weight the admissions officers put on the essay? I feel like my essay would help.

You seem fine and considering the accident your GPA is good

you should ask your counselor/principal to attach an official note with your senior packet or transcript (whatever your school sends when you apply) that explains the state of events as DmouthGrad2014 said

also remember that its such a crapshoot so just hope and pray :)

Will do, thanks! I’m asking my counselor to attach my hospital records.
