Any idea how the students are notified if they do or don't get in?

I expect we will have decisions prepared by Tuesday or Wednesday. BFA letters will likely go out Friday. The BM letters will be a bit later because the College of Music notifies the applicants for all of the programs (!) at one time.

@All4FSU two of my good friends got calls earlier and were accepted into the BM MT program. Have all calls been made to those accepted??

So the BM/BFA is coming out before the BFA? Not waiting til all music decisions? @All4FSU

All admitted students- both the BM and the BFA will be called tonight/tomorrow. BFA letters will be mailed Friday, BM letters probably won’t go out until about 3/17 because the College of Music prints all the letters at once (for all of the programs/instruments) and it takes a bit longer.

@All4FSU If my D received a call with her acceptance to the BFA MT does that mean she is accepted to the University as well as the BFA program, or does that have to happen separately?

DanceMamaRose20: It happens separately, but expect notification in the next day or two with a University admissions offer for Summer or Fall, depending upon the academics.

All offers have gone out. In the end we decided not to have a waitlist; we made the decision to admit a few more instead. Waitlists are tough for everyone- especially the applicants and we prefer to avoid them when possible.
I am very willing to talk with anyone, accepted or not for questions and feedback.
