will it be a surprise or have they specified a date? anyone any idea?

You can check online on March 31st.

actually the 21st, oops.

in the banner web?

oh yeah n has anyone received anything like the likely letters or else anything from different depts or heard anything about ur app from the adcoms? i heard many students getting those in other colls....does smith send those?

bump......

I think that if likely letters would be sent out or other adcom-prospective student interaction would have happened, it would be posted here, somewhere....
I, personally, have not received any of these, but I did keep in touch with my interviewer.
5 days left :-ss

I got an early acceptance letter yesterday, along with an offer of admission into the STRIDE program. Literally yesterday though, and I was far too tired to come on and post in excitement. I did jump around a lot in the house though and call all my friends. =P

that's great congs!!!!!! I wish i would get one too!

That's pretty amazing. Where do you live?

Massachusetts.

Congratulations. STRIDE is a great program. The one-to-one with a professor is an awesome opportunity. That's what convinced my D to go to Smith, and she has not regretted her decision.

I got a letter yesterday too, I am offered the Dora Windes Zollman Scholarships (half tuition) along with the STRIDE.

Do you think decisions will be posted through the Banner Web accounts? At other schools, my daughter received an email telling her she could go check her status. Do you think Smith will send her one of those "go check" emails?

No early acceptance letter here :(

The word is, you can check your status on Banner Web the afternoon of March 21st- four more days. My D looked yesterday, nothing yet.

It's so nerve-wracking! Agh!

I've been offered to be in the STRIDE program! I'm so excited and am hoping hoping hoping that that $5000 a year will be enough for my parents. I'm not really eligible for financial aid but they still insist that I go to BYU since I could go there for free. Maybe this will help my case a little bit. I'm pretty excited!

I got an express mail telling me that I got into the STRIDE program too!!! soooo excited now. However, I'm pretty confused: according to Smith's website, they say that they only offer STRIDE to US-citizens, but the fact is, I am an international applicant. I'm pretty suspect if they mistook me as a US-citizen... any current Smith students here? do you know if they admit international students to STRIDE too?

Congratulations, yeme90!
I'm also an international student applying this year, so I can not tell you anything else but the fact that I envy you :). Where are you from?

Hey guys, how did you get offered STRIDE? Do you have to apply for it? I know nothing about it, so if the question is silly don't mind.
