I am currently a junior in my high school and I have done no leadership. Basically whenever I come up with an idea for a club, I can't start that club because there is already a related club. I was hoping you guys could give me names of unique and distinct clubs, I could start and become president of.

dont look for something serious to do.

EX Jedi Council, or something fun.

dont start something just so you can put it on your college application - god that is so lame

Think about what your school doesn't have that you are interested in..

anyway, a lot of people do this at my school and you can tell the leadership-created clubs from the non. we amend all the clubs in student council and it gets really annoying.

I started a club in my high school called PAL/Players and Listeners. We are performers who play instruments, sing, dance or act. Some of us are school newspaper reporters, are work behind the scenes in the drama department. We are very inclusive and need computer people, photographers and people who will read stories or poems. We perform for senior citizens in nursing homes and raise money to pay for instruments or lessons for others who want to learn. We have started another club at another high school and are helping other schools get started. Our web site has instructions on what to do to start a club. We have bylaws and structured the club to grow after I go away to college. Take a look at PAL/Players and Listeners to start your own school club if you are interested. It is just one way to give back to the community by building relationships between our disadvantaged seniors and youth.
Let me know if I can help.

Maybe you could start an “Apathy Club”. Leadership in that club would be easy; just cancel all meetings due to lack of interest.
