Any ideas here?

<p>Applied in Oct (Oct 27th). Have been seeing my "Application Complete" since Nov 10th or so. Only thing that i saw changed was at least my letter of recommendation that was sent in November was finally acknowledged on Jan 3rd (today). When I called 3 weeks ago, I was told "you are an extremely competitive student and should be hearing back from us soon". Have not heard anything either via mail, email or tracker.</p>

<p>I have been accepted at some colleges that are better ranked than UMN, but the location of UMN and the Cost of attendance is the most important factors I am banking on. In addition, if i can get some scholarship that will definitely make it a deal closer. </p>

<p>Have there been any others that have been waiting as long as me?</p>

<p>Read through some of the other threads on here. MANY students have been waiting as long as you - and will continue to wait. Be patient.</p>

<p>I applied to CLA mid-July and found out late October that I was accepted. At least with me, my app tracker displayed “Application Complete” until the day before I got my result. I’m sure you will be finding out very soon. @ablasco is right; patience is key. Good luck!!</p>
