Thinking UVA, GeorgeWashington, Georgetown, upenn, Cornell. William Mary. Any other good schools that i have a good change at can you mention so i can do some more research.

As you can see i am primary a science kid, but please tell me if my sat II and ib score will make a difference in anything?

Oldest child so coming here for advice.

Let me know if you need some more information so i can update.

Thanks!

Also planing on ED for UVA.

Check out the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Also UW-Madison.

thanks for your response. Why do you recommend those schools in particular?

There is no ED for UVA…Anyway all of them will be hard without a higher SAT or ACT. You will want Mid 600’s for all the State schools. I just don’t see Penn, Georgetown or Cornell Happening. I would guess Geographically you are screwed for Georgetown. Then Cornell and Penn you don’t have the test scores and your GPA isn’t high enough.

You do have a strong rigor which if you can get the SAT’s up should put you in match range at the state schools. I just don’t see the three that I mentioned above happening. You will never know until you apply though.

I second UW-Madison. Excellent Med school, top of the line facilities, spectacular campus+spectacular city = amazingness.

I might be biased since I go there, but definitely give it a look.
