Any Indians Out There?

Cool!! No, I live in VA. Letters go out in April, I’m so nervous!!

Aw, I’m so jealous haha. I go to school in a different state than I live in, so it wasn’t possible for me to be nominated for gov school :’( Oh, well.

You have to nominated? That sucks, marshmallowpop, I’m sorry. :C There will be other opportunities.

After 2 months of no fighting, my parents decided to be jerks and started fighting again. It would be a lot easier to deal if I had a sibling, but of course I had to be the only child.

Sorry guys, I needed to rant. Sigh.

Yo I’m Indian!! What’s up guys

I’m the whitest Indian ever! Guys there should be a fraternity where we teach Bhangra.

@AnImpAffliction No problemo :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: what better place to rant than cc? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

And omg I am obsessed with Bhangra! I’m not even Punjabi.

Is there anyone out on this thread that is work hard, party hard? C’mon everyone needs fun. I have my passions, goals, and dreams but incorporate fun in my life also.

What is fun? I’m always studying.

I have the day off because it’s really icy outside and my mom decided to make me study for the literature subject test. Yipee.

Hey y’all, I’m a Bengali but everyone just calls me Indian.

@AnImpAffliction, whereabouts do you live? I live in Central NY and we got a day off for the cold yesterday.

^^^Ooh I used to live in Calcutta!

Going off a random tangent here, but do you guys know if knowing multiple languages gives you some sort of upper hand in the admissions process? I guess that sorta applies to all of us desis here…

Hi guys.

I live in NOVA, a predominantly upper middle class white area where there is no individuality whatsoever since everyone wears the same thing.

Where do y’all live? That was not meant to be creepy.

I have a question. Lol this is weird but rank ap classes from easiest to hardest

I heard AP Psych is the easiest. However, I’m more familiar with the hardest.

Hardest: AP Chem, Physics C M & EM, Calc BC

AP Lang is pretty easy…at least for me. I think AP Psych is also easy but it’s a LOT of studying. I think that class gives a LOT of homework.

@Aladeen crap I’m taking all three next year.
Do you guys know how AP Lit is?

I’ve heard it’s harder than AP Lang, if that helps. But if it means I get to read The Great Gatsby, then I’m fine. Oh, also Pride and Prejudice.

We have to take AP Lit before AP Lang at our school. They’re actually allowing sophomores to take AP Lit next year.

I live in Arizona… A couple of more questions for you lovely folks.
Is AP Psych a simple self-study? I’ve always been interested in it, but it’s only available to juniors.
Also, how is an 1/2 AP World self-study? My History teacher who did practically nothing in our class for 1st semester is finally getting her act together and starting to teach. She told us she will administer the AP exam since the curriculum is nearly identical. So if I take it, which I’ll feel will be a missed opportunity if I don’t, will self-studying 1/2 of it be feasible?

thanks!
