Any Indians Out There?

@Funshine That’s what I keep telling my parents! Every time we visit, we stay there for the whole summer, but we never go to many tourist destination like places. In fact I’ve never been to the Taj Mahal. My social studies teacher back in middle school was so surprised when I told her that.

I’m not indian, but I sure do like gulab jamun

@desigirl1432 Ugh, same here!!! Never been to Taj Mahal, never been to any of the big cities. :(

Hehe I looovvveee gulab jamun. What other Indian foods have you tried?

hahahahahah @Yakisoba, gulab jamun is superb.

@funshine, I’m Indian so probably every popular dish in India, chicken curry and palak/saag paneer are the best.

I told my mom that I couldn’t consider myself Indian if I haven’t been to the Taj Mahal so she took me 2 summers ago. Most beautiful thing I’ve seen in my life. The pictures do no justice.

Gulab jamun is the bomb diggity and if you disagree then we can’t be friends.

Homemade gulab jamun is the BEST! Mmmmm😃

@apandia ohmygosh saag paneer is pretty much the love of my life. Well, anything panner really. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: hehehe all my non-Indian friends love it too!

Anyone on this thread have Indian parents that are NOT super strict and put pressure on them?

My parents are actually really nice. They don’t really pressure me to do well in school or compare me to others. It could be because they know I worry about it more than they do :frowning: Haha, but its still nice to have no restrictions on friends, dating, etc.

Paneer is delicious. I love it so much.

Majikarp, you’re allowed to date?? My mom freezes whenever I talk about having a date to prom.

My parents are super nice as well! Although I do thin that sometimes they care more about my grades than I do. :P

How is that even possible??? How are there Indian parents who are actually chill about grades???

Hey baby, will you be my jalebi? Don’t say maybeee ;)

I did, indeed, use this pickup line.

Oh dear god. And how did it go?

I posted on my Tumblr, “You do realize you have 3 days to ask me if I wanna be your chammak challo”. I’m so funny. :P

^^^^^
that’s hilaaarious. I don’t know of any Indian pickup lines lol.

Have any of you guys seen any Hindi movies lately? My family and I just saw Gunday, and it wasn’t that bad!

I haven’t watched any movies period. AND I HAVE APUSH TO THANK FOR THAT.

You know, they should have Indian History as an AP class. They have American and European History, why not Indian? I’d take it!

@AnImpAffliction @apandia: Let’s just leave it at this: that aunty gave me a huge thappar ;)

Do any of you guys like Honey Singh? That man is honestly such a baller.

And yes they totally should have Indian History!

i think this would be an appropriate time for me to awkwardly join the thread :D

@sirswish7 ohh maaaa gaaassshhhh my friend loves him and she keeps forcing me to listen to his music lololo

Why do people like Yo Yo Honey Singh? I can’t even say the name with a straight face.

My friend and I are going to start an International Night. It’s gonna happen. And the Indian performance will be the highlight of the entire thing.
