Well I got a full scholarship for ASU if I apply and get admitted. I have heard nothing about the school, and was wondering if you could give me some info and your opinions if I should go there or not, or at least apply. I’ve never really considered going to this school or living in this state, but because I received this scholarship, my dad is sortof making me at least apply.
I currently live in FL and am hoping to get into UF and/or FSU
How does ASU compare to these two schools?

I’m not completely sure what I want to major in yet, but I’m thinking something in business.

ASU Business is excellent, you have full scholarship congrats, definatley apply, 50k students is a lot but FSU has a lot as well. AZ is fast growing state like Florida. its rally a toss up probably go to Florida so you stay in state... in my opinion.

That first line is a grabber ... are you an athlete or scholar? Full scholarships for OOS students are hard to come by. It might genereate some more response if you elaborate.

ASU is a typical big state school. Business (where I got my BS a long time ago) and Communications are well regarded but I don't know much about the other schools/programs. If there isn't anything special drawing you to ASU other than a free ride, I'd think hard about staying closer to home.

That being said, I was just visiting there this past weekend and it is still a beautiful campus, has a great laid-back vibe, and Tempe retains the feel of a much smaller campus town.

You need to find a place that is a good fit for you ... what you want to study, where you might live after graduation, what you want to pay, etc, etc. Do as much research as you can, and get on a plane to visit before you make a commitment.
