<p>Still planning our North Carolina trip and will likely swing by ECU - hadn't found much info on the department but I know someone recommended it somewhere along the way. Does anyone know any of the teachers there or know someone who knows anyone there. Does the name Louise Toppin ring a bell with anyone - she is a double degree Peabody teacher there.</p>
<p>Just found this site today! I know this is well after your original post, but wanted to ask if you ever found out anything about ECU? My daughter is interested in looking there also, because she worked with a couple of the faculty (DR. Bara and Ms Munden) at a summer vocal program she attended. She loved them both and the performances we heard at the end of the program were outstanding. (just heard the students, but daughter was very impressed by the faculty recitals). Trying to figure whether it's worth the time to try to go down there from northern NY state to visit.</p>
