Any insights about my choosing university would be greatly appreciated

<p>Hi,there.I am Jie,major in Computer Science in Southeast University,China.As a freshout with a master's degree in computer science,I was recruited by Agriculture Bank of China as an engineer.Due to my aspiration to be a research professional at a university or other institution,I want to pursuit my study in U.S. </p>

<p>With a low GPA in University ,I have no idea about how to choose a University which will help me to achieve my goal.I plan to retake my GRE in Oct. because of poor performance in last test(verbal:300,math:680,3.5).And I got 587 in TOEFL.</p>

<p>I was involved in some research projects granted by Chinese government and got hand on experience in coding in a famous company in China.And I made myself published in academic journal.</p>

<p>I want to apply PH.D program with finacial aid in Computer Science in the field of computer vision or artificial intelligent or Bioinformatics,which university will be my candidates?</p>

<p>Any insights would be greatly appreciated</p>

<p>There it is mostly discussion about Masters' and Phds, while this forum is mostly used for undergraduate university selection.</p>
