daughter did not make it to the finalist stage of Presidential Scholarship. Not surprised due to the competition, but now it’s on to see what might be possible from the Villanova Scholarship.
The range referenced on Nova website says range is from $3 to $15K. Based on what I read from last year’s Presidential Scholarship finalists, looks like the upper end of Nova scholarship ($15K) went to the finalists that didn’t receive Presidential scholarship. I assume that leaves a range of between $3K to $12K to anyone else who is eligible for Villanova Scholarship.
Just wondering what might be realistic to expect. My daughter did get invite to Honors College so I assume she will get something. Hoping Villanova will not throw a $3K award out there which would almost seem like an insult!
Thanks in advance for anyone who can share info from the past.
@Krj957 We are in the exactly same position regarding the Presidential Scholarship and the Honors College. My daughter is still awaiting a phone call from her interviewer for the Villanova scholarship. Did yours receive hers yet?
My daughter had her interview last weekend. At this point, I guess we’ll be in suspense until April 1 to see what the school will or won’t be offering.
I did my Nova scholarship interview on campus at the EA admit day back in February, hoping for some generous aid as I was also admitted to the honors program. Fingers crossed!
