Any interesting classes to sit in on during AW?

im in SLE. we can meet up at Tresidder or at FloMo (where SLE is located)mor the bookstore or the post office. take your pick! and im not sure you'd want to do it thursday night...all we'll do is watch a movie and talk for 10 minutes about it. i don't know if you could sit in on section thursday afternoon, but i'd recommend (realistically) sitting in on wednesday evening lecture if you can make it. let me know.

hmmmm...I'm actually meeting up with some people near campus that afternoon. What time is the Wednesday evening lecture?

starts at 6, ends at 7.

you'll get to listen to a lecture (theorectically, unless they change) at 6:00 pm on the History of Psychoanalysis with Margo Horn, (lecturer from) SLE..

I should be able to come! :)

yo me to!!Let me know~

I also take Intermediate Spanish Communication (an Oral Comm class, pass/fail, SPANLANG 15) at 12:15 on Fridays and Chinese for Bilingual Speakers (First year, specifically designed for people with a fairly advanced ability to comprehend/speak Chinese so I don't encourage people who just want to learn CHinese straight up from a blank slate coming) at 11 on Fridays.

lookatme89: I'll be sitting in on the SLE lecture the Wednesday before AW beings (4/18/07). PM me or her if you're interested! :D

If anyone is around Monday or Wednesday, Developmental Neurobiology from 10-11:50am is WONDERFUL.

MWF: Bio 43, 11-11:50; not that exciting in terms of subject matter, but still, a good feel for anyone who's premed to see the number of people in the class, lecture style.

are there any other classes for potential pre-med's so that we can get a good feel about classes?

i am def going to bio 43

The one that I mentioned, Developmental Neurobiology, is great. Lectures are Monday/Wednesday, and Friday morning we have a discussion section, which I think will be very interesting to attend!

Also, I believe there are some chemistry classes on Friday morning...

Celestial, Developmental Neurobiology sounds like something I would love! I'm not going to be there until Thursday; can prefrosh sit in on sections?

Margerie, I'm definitely going to bio43 too! Do you know where it is?

yay! actually i have no idea where it is, i should def. plan that though

also can we just skip the whole event schedule for admits that morning to visit the classes we want to see? not sure how it works yet...

I don't think the event schedule has to be followed. You're free to move about as you please, I guess.

You're right, fuzzylogic. The events are planned for you, but you can go to whatever you'd like.

Bio 43 is in Hewlett 200 from 11am-12:15pm.

Myriadp, I feel like you'd be most welcome in my discussion section, but I will ask to make sure.

Chem 35 is Friday, 9-9:50 AM. Crazy time, I know, but the lecturer is pretty intense, so I never had problems staying awake.

Thanks Celestial :)

celestial can i come in as well?
