ANY INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS OR GRADUATES OR PROFESSORS FROM MIT OUT THERE?!!!!

I will come straight to the point: I am an international student and doing the IB. I am in my final year of the IB with a predicted grade of a 38/45. I plan to take a gap year to improve my credits, so that my chances of getting into MIT (specifically) increase.

With that said, its not because its THE MIT that i want to get into MIT. Its actually for the love of science and engineering that I aspire to graduate from MIT. Hence fellows, i request you guys to please help me peruse this dream. Do you have any personal tip(s)? Anything special for students like me? Something that not many know but should be aware of? JUST SAY IT.

Thanks a lot in advance guys (and sorry for the long post).

As an international EC, I can assure you that although the international pool is more competitive, there is nothing that MIT looks for any differently in their international applicants than in their domestic applicants. It is all about match (<a href=“What we look for | MIT Admissions”>http://mitadmissions.org/apply/process/match</a>). That is what gets you in.
