Any Internationals?

Mcmaster is famous for producing theoretical trained but lacking in clinical experience docs. The MD program is only 3 yrs,not 4.

rakeon - personally i favor the american ones muchhhhhhh more than McMaster or any other canadian ones...and I have a feeling so do you :p (thus we are on this forum...lol :D)

sooo...petaling, rakeon, anyone else in canada, have you guys heard from anyone yet?? (american uni's i mean...)

i got deferred from plme, no suprise

just to clarify a few things, im refering to mcmaster's undergrad health science

it's not really compareable to medical school, and the health science program can be 4 years if you decide to continue for honors i believe

the american programs are favored mainly because of the *********
no grueling 4 years of undergrad work to maintain perfect gpa's. the insurance of knowing where you'll be 3-4 years from now is worth the price.

but in the end, a doctor is a doctor no matter where they train. the UK and Hong Kong have similar programs, (and even a shorter time). All of which are good

yea, a boy from Brebeuf ? went to Nottingham UK medicine this Sept, total 5 yr course

Rakeon,do I know you?
Did you have Cappucino from Brown?

no, but i just heard some girl at havergal got into brown plme

my friends cousin (who goes to bronx science) got into plme. She had a 2390, 4.0 etc

wow rakeon ... someone from havergal made it?? thats awesome... now i just wish they would look at the other girl's schools in the area too :p :p haha

and to add to the list... my GC told me someone from UCC also got in....<to brown="" plme=""></to>

PS: petaling, did you apply to Nottingham too??

no,i am in gr 11 not interested in medicine
