Spring Receptions
April 5, 9, 12, 19, and 23
Visit us during the month of April!
Spring Receptions allow you to discover the exciting traditions and history that make Syracuse University a special place to spend your college years. This full day event provides the opportunity to meet with current students, learn more about your academic program through staff and faculty from your college of admission, explore the campus, and meet with representatives from many of the offices and student organizations at SU.

Your day begins with a welcome from the Dean of Admissions followed by a visit to your college of admission. After that, enjoy the Campus Expo and lunch on the turf in the Carrier Dome. From there you can take a tour of campus and visit a residence hall. Plan to spend the day exploring campus and learning about what it’s like to be a student at SU.

Spring Receptions are Scheduled for:

Monday, April 5
Friday, April 9
Monday, April 12
Monday, April 19
Friday, April 23
Transfer students are welcome on each day, but the Spring Receptions on April 9 and 19 will include special sessions for admitted transfer students. These sessions will provide information about financial aid, credit evaluation, and housing options.

NOTE: For the Spring Reception on April 5, during Passover, Kosher for Passover meals are made available for lunch. Kosher meals can be reserved when registering for that particular reception.

Additional Information and Registration for Spring Receptions
An invitation will be sent to all admitted students. To register for a Spring Reception, please call 315-443-3611 or register online.

D was invited to the three day MSP event for accepted students. Anyone else get this invite and if so are you planning to attend? It sounds more comprehensive than the regular Spring Reception being that is an overnight three day event…

how was she invited? was it a letter sent home or what?

dshmizil1026 - The invite for both the Spring Receptions and the MSP program came in the acceptance package
