I've just been wondering if any of you is from S. Korea thinking about undergrad transfer to American universities.

I'm from a business school in Seoul, and would like to meet someone to talk about the general application process and some pecularities koreans face when applying for transfer.

International transfers are quite hard since its complicated to match credits and hour requirements from university. Where are you thinking of transferring?? If it is UC system (Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD) or HYPSM, the UC system is built so that local in-state students from community colleges or CAL Poly university to transfer and rarely awards any out-of-state and international students. For HYPSM, you must (not 100% sure but most likely) will ask for your SAT I, SAT II grades and maybe even your high school transcripts, since Northwestern and USC asks for them.

Thanks. I'm applying to Brown, Columbia, Upenn Wharton(those Ivy leagues), U of Chicago and NYU Stern. I took SAT1 but not SAT2, and admission officials told me I don't need to take SAT2 if I hadn't taken it already.
My college GPA is relatively good (3.91/4.0) and I studied at Wharton as a full-time exchange student for one semester, and got strong recommendations from faculty members there. Two internships at investment banks, but I doubt they would ever count for transfer admissions. As for the financial aid, I've given up getting any from the schools that I apply, because the competitions are insanely high for internationals and now I'm worried that I might not be able to transfer even if I got accepted because of tuitions. Well I know it's a bit too late, but do you think I should apply for universities that would grant me some sort of aid?
