Hi everyone
I’m a upcoming senior from Cali. I’ve been really drawn to the idea of liberal arts colleges and have even visited the Claremont colleges, but I would like to gain knowledge as to what other liberal arts schools there are that offer strong finance/business/economics programs (any of the three).
My GPA uw is like a 3.94 (ahhh freshman year:)
W: 4.52ish
ACT: 35
And if it helps I’m a three year varsity starter in basketball, so maybe if any of these schools have basketball teams too that could be a route to take.
Thanks for the help and I look forwards to using this forum more!
These LACs would be particularly good choices for the study of economics:
Williams
Wellesley
Middlebury
Wesleyan
Hamilton
Claremont McKenna
(From IDEAS, "Economics Departments at Liberal Arts Colleges.)
Though it would be obvious with even a cursory look at the school, I’ll note here that Wellesley is all female.
NESCAC (the New England Small College Athletic Conference) is probably the top DIII conference in the country. I’d start there:
