Can anyone share personal experiences with job or grad school hunting after Lafayette?
In case you have not seen it, check for job and graduate school placement broken down by majors at the following site: https://careerservices.lafayette.edu/after-graduation/summary-for-the-class-of-2016/ Click on “Graduate Outcomes by Major.”
For "colleges and Universities most frequently attended go to https://careerservices.lafayette.edu/after-graduation/colleges-universities-most-frequently-attended/ Unfortunately, the graduate school majors are not broken down by majors.
Thank you!
From the 2012 class, the Notre Dame graduate student was my daughter. She was a dual biology and history major. One of the students who went on to graduate school at Penn is a friend of hers. He was an engineering major (can’t remember his specific major). Both of them just received their PhD’s and will be teaching at Top 40-ish LACs in the fall.
I might add that among D12’s other engineering friends: one went on to Harvard for her MBA, another was admitted to the PhD program at Virginia Tech and now works for NASA, and another went on to grad school at Pitt.
My D’s friend who was a chemical engineer is now getting a PhD at Columbia. Another good friends went into the workplace after college as (I think) a civil engineer – she is a Turner Construction.
