Any last minute score-boosters for the SAT?

Hey all :)

Since we're all anticipating October 1st, does any one have any tips they'd like to share for those last-minute studiers (would this word just be students? I never thought of it that way before)? I need some tips on how to maximize my score because I've studied all that I could, and vocabulary is a lost cause at this point (my summer vocab study plan didn't go as planned, lol).

Any helpful suggestions to help prepare for maximum scores on test day? Any short top vocab list one should master by next Saturday?

What can one do to maximize one's score, given that they have already retired study materials?

I realize I keep redundantly rephrasing the same question, but hey, just answer it! :)

one … one … they … do you see what’s wrong with your sentence? This may help your writing score :).

Thanks for the info, but grammar isn’t a problem for me. I’m talking about more general tips, not specific study tips. Btw, I did somewhat apologize for the horrendous organization/grammar at the end :)

I’ll give you a tip that could make or break your test day… Do everything in your power, starting tonight, to ensure that you get the proper sleep before test day. I can’t say it enough. I suffered from insomnia two weeks before taking the ACT. However, I attempted to sleep early on every night leading up to the test to acclimate my body. The day before the test, I was finally, for the first time in a while, able to sleep well, and I went into the test feeling much better–much more sharp mentally–than I had the first time I took the ACT (when I was tired).

You can study for hundreds and hundreds of hours (and you ought to have), but I can’t even measure how much of that you would lose if you went in there tired and unable to demonstrate your maximum ability effectively.

I’m also taking the October 1st SAT and according to my friends who have taken it before, the most important thing is to not stress yourself out. Overloading yourself with SAT books and trying to memorize ridiculously amounts of vocab will only make you panic! so calmly go through some vocab and reviewing concepts. Good luck to you!
