I am taking the November SAT and was wondering if anyone has any last minute advices or tips that would help me tomorrow...

Tip #1
Make your your punctation marks on your essay are DARK! On my previous tests many of my punctation marks were unclear. Also, do NOT write outside of the margins. I made that mistake as well.

Tip #2
Remember that the person next you can be working on a different section. I know that may sound stupid, but I was very confused on test day. I thought that I was on the wrong section and had to double check to make sure I was on the right one.

Tip #3
Bring at least 4 pencils. Don’t let a dull pencil slow you down on your test.

Time #4
On the math section, if you’re on #15 and you get an answer within 10 seconds, you probably did something wrong. Many of the later problems in math may seem simple, but generally have a few tricks that can mess you up if you fly by them.

Good luck tomorrow!

Thanks for the reply.

By the way, does anyone here know how to deal with open ended, or too broad essay questions? it is very hard to get examples for them.

One of them is:-
“Are we free to make our own decisions, or are we limited in the choices we make?”
how to deal with such essays?
how to get examples?

Honestly, make those essays work for you. Use examples like A Thousand Splendid Suns and the British Revolution to show that we’re not free. Also, have an example showing that when freedom DOES come, good comes out of it. Use the “How to get a 12 in 10 days” thread for format, and you should get atleast a 10, if not more.
