I applied a day before the deadline and they haven’t asked me to turn in my transcripts or anything, sent them myself yesterday. I hope I don’t have to wait until June to hear their decision.

I was deferred EA and am still waiting. Have called a good amount of times to check about my app. Same thing told about it up to April 1st. This is terrible! I hate waiting!!

@daniellehorowitz Does your mylmu still say under review?

@Gr8TrnRob1903 Yes! I have mostly now just been nonstop checking my PROWL. If I look under financial aid, it tells me that mine is still pending. They have not made a decision yet at all.

My D has not heard but LMU assigned her a campus e-mail address and apparently with that can sign up for classes. Yet still showing under reveiw on line and no letter.

Ideas?

Today I have access to a few more things on Prowl that weren’t there yesterday (but still no admission decision for my D). Prowl now has the cost of attendance up under her financial aid page, and the words “campus housing” on the left. That wasn’t there yesterday. But there is no mention of a financial aid award. And I was able to link to a whole different area for account payments, methods of payments, etc. A screen popped that I had to click “OK” on to get to this.

@ DarthFleur & @apamom Holy sugar biscuits!!! Only thing I had was Writers Club, National English Honor Society, Baseball, Lacrosse, and work as a Magicians Assistant for 6 years. You guys actually have film experience so I’m sure it’s likely that you’ll be getting in. There’s still time. I’m pretty sure a delay actually is more likely. This is the most stressful time for admission officers. Just keep staying afloat.

My D just called me and she has been accepted!!! Screenwriting. The notification was on-line. No letter or email confirmation.
She is very excited. Good luck to all.

@sleepyweasel did it change from under review to accepted under Application Status?

See? People are still getting accepted everyday. Just keep holding on everyone. If you feel like your likely to get in, you probably will.

I got denied today see?

@Data1530. I am sorry.

ty all <3

My D’s status changed to admitted and the same day her acceptance letter arrived at the house. Not sure if it matters but she is a transfer student.

@sleepyweasel… did she get an email too? Everyone is finding out differently???

I do not think she got an email. Just accepted status on-line and the letter along with a thumb drive with LMU information on it.

=.=

ughhhhh. When are they going to decide on my application?!? I’m thinking of calling of them, but the last time I tried that they were rude and unhelpful. If I at least had some idea of when it was coming I’d probably be able to rest easier.

DarthFleur, my D has been waiting to hear also. She just heard from NYU that she got wait listed which was a surprise - good one. Chapman flat out rejected her, but she got into Occidental, BU, Sarah Lawrence, San Fran and Santa Cruz honors. We really hope to hear from LMU this weekend since that is high on her list. We feel your pain! Also, when I called to ask a question a long time ago before she even applied I found them to be very rude too - not a good impression at all. Sounds like they need some customer service training there!

Still waiting. I could probably have another child and send it through high school by the time we hear from these people!! CRAZY.

I think they and Chapman are in cahoots. The wait for Chapman was dreadful!! Their website said a decision was reached and then you had to wait another week to either get a letter of acceptance or e-mail rejection. We checked the mailbox and e-mail constantly for a week only to find out she did not get in. After that experience I was almost glad she didn’t get in… why they would put kids through that stress I have no idea. None of the other schools have had such a poor process.
