My son was invited to apply, but it doesn’t appear he made it to the second round. Its disappointing as he not only spent a lot of time working on the essays, but also has a 4.0, lots of extra curricular activities, participated in an engineering build weekend event, is part of the Honors Program and received a recommendation from one of the Physics senior professors. All that and no second round. I’m curious what it took to get to the second round…
@whciv Well my son also had a 4.0 for his first engineering semester, good extracurriculars, and thanks to all his AP classes is already a junior. He didn’t even get invited to apply, so your son should be proud that he was invited.
