<p>Does Binghamton offer any merit aid to freshman? I read something that they reserve most scholarships for upperclassmen. Have you heard of a freshman getting merit aid???</p>
<p>I believe merit aid is for those who have already “proved themselves” at Binghamton. You can check fastweb.com for some merit aid scholarships, but for freshman, binghamton only offers need based aid. Unless you’re admitted into the scholars program, which I think gives freshman $500 or something like that.</p>
