I got a 1480 on my SAT and I'm determined to raise those scores. Now I know I'm not going to go from a 1480 to 2000 in a time span of 2 months but I'm going to study my tail off to have a significant score increase (pref.1800+). The following is everything I'm doing to raise those scores:

SAT question of the day (Collegeboard.com)
Number2.com
Currently studying from Kaplan book until I buy Princeton Review
Writing/math flashcards (Forumulas, tips,practice,etc)
Studying/reviewing words derived from CR list

...Any other tips/ideas for me? It would be very helpful, thanks.

None of those are going to work.

Use the Blue Book to study. Also, check out Xiggi’s tips and tricks (it’s stickied in this forum), MTP Grammar Rules and Khan Academy for Math. For Critical Reading, just think, “What answer is in the reading?” and you’ll be set.

I brought my score up 190 points using those materials.

okay, thank you. By Blue Book do you mean the College Board book? I also checked out Xiggi’s tips and I’m doing so step by step. And for CR, It’s not so much the passages but it’s the words hence why I’m studying/reviewing words derived from past SAT tests.

monoclide does mean the college board book. and also for your vocab try getting Direct Hits volumes one and two they would help you out a lot. barrons for math is good. um. but the college board book is a must need definitely. and the direct hits too. those 3 boost up scores tremendously
