<p>I'm planning to apply to the program, and I'm curious about people who've been accepted. Would you be so kind as to share your high school stats/honors/experiences/etc so I can get an idea of the type of people I'm up against?</p>
<p>I'm a Michigan resident, by the way, so I think that means I have at least some advantage over out-of-staters.</p>

<p>I heard that on average they accept about ten people, but usually 8 are from within the state of Michigan.</p>
<p>From my US News Ultimate Guide to Med Schools book here are the stats:</p>
<p>1025 in-state applied, 251 interviewed, 121 accepted 85 enrolled
1825 out of state applied, 111 interviewed, 52 accepted 21 enrolled.</p>
