Hello! I'm a prospective music education double major. However, while visiting colleges, I've been strongly discouraged from attempting this, as music education is such a intense major in itself. For some majors, it would not even be allowed due to the number of credits, etc.
Whichever college I end up attending, I want to be in their Honors College, so will taking honors, music, education, core, and insert major here classes and hour+ of commuting be feasible? Will I have a chance to get involved in clubs and productions? I stress very easily; will I stay sane? @-) Any ideas on how much longer it'd take to graduate?
I'm getting dizzy just thinking about it...but I still want to do it.
Do you know anyone/ is there anyone here who has gone this course? Was it worth the pain? What would you do differently?
While we're on the topic, what would you advise? Computer Science+ Music or Music Ed + History? I like them all.
Thank you! :)
