Have any A&L transfer applicants heard back yet? This seems pretty late.

I have been asking that question for a week and no one has responded, so I do not believe so. I am assuming that they are going to mail all the A & L decisions out at once rather than rolling. I guess they do not have everyones final grades.

Some friends from Holy Cross who applied to A&L heard a couple of weeks ago that they were accepted but no one else that I know have heard anything.

i just sent out my grades today....so i doubt i will be hearing within this week

Does anyone know how close to the FYS courseload you have to be. The website seems to say that the most important are the two maths, two sciences, and the english. Are the electives, history, and behavioral science classes not as important in terms of admission?

Would any of you mind posting where you are currently going to school?

Good Luck and Thanks!!

i got to University of Washington
about the FYS...i think that they emphasize math and science because those tend to be the easiest classes to transfer...calculus is calculus at any school...i could be wrong but that's the impresssion that i got.

also i have a question aobut sending in the grades....i was wondering if ND responded to people when they sent in their grades....i sent mine in via email and i was just wondering because i never received a response and i don't know whether i should follow up with another email or not.

I go to Trinity College in Connecticut. I followed up with an email and got a very short one back saying they got it lol. I'm sure you're fine.

i go to carnegie mellon university. i sent my grades in and they never sent me anything other than one letter saying that my application was complete and ready for review.

I go to George Washington out in DC. GW was supposed to send them my final grades in early May, but I have yet to hear anything from ND.

fantosme i know you've been waiting over a month but how long have other people been waiting for a response from ND?

does ND reveal decisions on a case by case basis or is there one decision date when they let everyone know?

Oh yeah? I was accepted today; though my acceptance is contingent on passing a course this summer.

I'm very happy to have received a form of acceptance, but I dread having to make a difficult decision now between ND and Northwestern.

I got a call from admissions yesterday saying I had gotten in (I have to pass my summer course as well.) Good luck to everyone!

Did anyone get a letter yet? I did not get a call, but I am fairly certain that I have more than enough credits, so I will not need a summer class. I would just like to know if they are calling everyone who has been accepted, or just those who need more credits.

if it's a decision at all, go to NU. we don't like people who do not truly want to be in South Bend

Do you speak for the student body? Are you some kind of elected spokesman?

Because, if you are, you're quite a poor one. Your criticisms of posters in this thread have not won you much favor. Based upon my and other's reactions to you, you seem to represent ND poorly and do a disservice to your own university.

You've already given me bad advice once in this thread by saying that I was screwed. Alas, I was accepted. I usually consider what people have to say on this website, but I'll ignore what you have to say because you've already lost any credibility.

i emailed nd yesterday and just got my response that im in!!! nd class of 2010 baby!

GW was supposed to send my final grades six weeks ago. I e-mailed ND about the status of my application, and they said that GW never mailed them and that was why I had yet to receive a decision. So GW of course made me pay another $25 to send my grades. If any of you are unsure if ND has your grades, I would find out.
