Anyone heard back from Cornell? Application complete? Status? ID stuff?

it said on their website not to check the admissions status page until april 3rd or something like that cuz they are making sure that all application materials are sent to each school each person applied.

you applied to cornell? :O... :(
there are 2 spots less now :(

I got my ID and stuff, but I sent in my common app like 2 weeks before it was due, and I got that within 8 days or something. I can't see my status now though, even for things that I know that they recieved (that I already saw checked off).

3 spots less :(

Nothing yet here.

anybody else get the email this morning?

anybody else have it say they have not paid? the hell is that?

I sent in my app awhile ago and recieved my account ID soon after (2days). However, I would suspect it would take longer now with the barrage of transfer apps.

Also for the person who said it says I havent paid: I had the same thing happen to me. I believe it just takes a longer amount of time for them to clear the payment, so if you paid I wouldnt worry to much yet.

i got my login today... and i submitted march 15

i got mine on monday, submitted march 14th

Yeah, I got mine yesterday (Monday). Basically, it made it clear not to bother Cornell until late April/early May while they process stuff. Blah, blah, blah.

im applying to cornell too. good luck everyone!

I got the loginID as well, but I don't see any credentials they have received.

Yes, the website still says they are backlogged.
"Attention Transfer Applicants: Cornell is currently receiving a very large volume of transfer application materials. We are devoting our efforts toward getting transfer applications processed and sent to selection committees for review. Please note that upon receipt of your application, it can take 2-3 weeks to process your application materials. At this time, we are unable to respond to phone calls or email inquiries about application materials. We ask that you not send duplicate copies of your application materials. We will notify you in early April if we are missing materials from your application and will provide you with an opportunity to submit those materials. Please visit this Web site again after April 9th for an update. Thank you for your patience and understanding. "

I applied back in early February and received my ID shortly thereafter -- I believe they'd received all my materials last I'd checked (except for that midterm grade report, which I attempted to mail last Monday but received in the mail, nearly torn to shreds, with a note reporting: "This letter was found on the ground near 120 Ashford St. Love, Mail Services".

Love you too.

So it'll be gone and done with tomorrow :P
