Any news from San Diego??

<p>The 12k is an award for the upcoming academic year. She could very well be awarded another 12k for the next year.</p>

<p>Hey... is it funny that 4 of us who haven't received any decision from any UC have similar GPA about 3.7 :D do you see the co-co-co-coincident? :D The students who got the acceptance letters are either around 3.5 GPA or around 3.9 GPA NOT around 3.7... I observe this not only on this board but also from my friends in my community college too.</p>

<p>I am!! I applied to UCB, UCLA, UCSD, UCSB..haven't heard from any of them..I have a 3.8 GPA..it's so hard waiting!!</p>

<p>I just checked UCSD site and GOT IN!!!!! yay!! Still waiting to hear from UCLA and UCB...</p>

<p>No. My friend got into UCI already with around that. He's still waiting for UCSD I believe.</p>

<p>Yes my 12k is just for one year, and i got offered another 10k in loans/workstudy/parent loan for this upcoming year as well, total award was almost 22k.</p>

<p>i have a place to live, i live in san diego with my parental unit, and my EFC was 7 dollars ... its usually 0, i have no idea why it was 7 dollars this year. not that i am complaining, but ... you know.</p>
