Any news?

Hey guys. It's the 28th today and I still haven't heard back from U of Rochester. My status on MyRoc says it's still on committee review. Anyone else still hasn't heard back yet?

Same 10char

2,300 letters (mixture of admit, waitlist, and deny) are being mailed at 5pm today.

Tyler

Praise the loord. Will this be the last wave??

My S applied for the FIRST Scholarship and I thought that maybe it was the reason he hadn’t heard anything yet. Anyone else apply for that particular scholarship?

Has anyone on this thread received their letters yet? I still haven’t and it’s now April 1

still haven’t gotten mine either… starting to get worried

Received mine today & got waitlisted.
So upsetting considering Rochester’s my first choice. Good luck to anyone who hasn’t heard yet

Got my letter on the 29th. Got accepted! Good luck to you all as well.

Got my letter just today, and I live downstate :o, Accepted! Good luck to everyone else waiting

My son received a letter Monday, He got a ALTERNATIVE List form, which sounds like waiting list. Yes, Rochester’s his first choice, since we live near the College, 15 minutes drive. He is so upsetting.
Good luck to those who got offer.

Does anybody know how much choice to get admitted who is on waiting list?

Anyone from California who have received the mail?

Heck, we live in metro Boston and my son still has heard nothing. And of course no change on his URoc account.

For those of you who are still waiting for you letter, I encourage you to simply give the Admissions Office a call. Our Admissions Counselors are available from 8:30am-5:00pm Monday through Friday at 585-275-3221.

At this point all admissions letters should have been sent. Please call us if you have not received your letter. All domestic students should receive their decisions via mail. International students may receive their decisions via mail / email depending on their situation. Decisions are NOT released via the MyRoc account.

If you are accepted and you are slated to received a merit scholarship, your merit award will be visible on your MyRoc account approximately 7 business days after receipt of your acceptance offer.

If you applied for need-based financial aid, you will have to wait approximately 10 business days to receive your FA Online package via email. Call our Financial Aid Office if you have any need-based aid questions.

Does this apply to transfer students as well? I understand transfer applications take about a month to completely review so I haven’t really been expecting a decision for another week or two.
