I know it was like freakishly hard and almost everyone (even native speakers) said so. Did anyone who thought they "bombed" the test end up doing really well? I really am hoping for a 5! or at least a 4.

I did :)

I thought I bombed the listening and speaking portions, since the speakers spoke ridiculously fast. All the test takers tended to overspeak, so we always missed out on the beginnings of the conversations. But I guess my reading MC and essays brought my score up (thankfully)!

me ^-^
i was so happy when i saw my score

the listening portion was insane [static and people in my testing room giggling at the tape >_>] , but i'm thinking my speaking and the reading comp part brought up my score especially

I pulled off a 5 and I'm a non-native speaker. I thought the listening was really hard, and I had problems with the speaking section (my proctor played the CD on a laptop and refused to do anything about volume problems...so frustrating!).

Luckily, I think I wrote a good essay and did very well on the reading comprehension - one of the selections was of something that I had before by sheer dumb luck lol.

Hopefully, i did as well too :)

Spanish is the only AP that I want a 5 on. I think if I got a 3 on everything else and a 5 on this, I'd be happy.

Listening was a mess. I might even say I lost more points than I gained there.
Reading made me confident again. Not amazing though.
Fill-ins were good--I only missed 1 or 2.
Informal Writing was amazing (with a lot of the subjunctive).
Formal Writing was generic and repetitive, but I got the job done (with a few subjunctives).
Informal Speaking left me confident as well. Almost no blank tape, and I may have failed to answer only one question that I couldn't hear well.
Formal Speaking... for what i got done, I think it was good. I didn't finish.

Can anyone who got their grade back give me a prediction based on how they felt?

I did. I thought that the only really hard part was the second listening section in which the speakers spoke verrry fast...

I was expecting a 2 or 3 tops, and I got a 4 which I was really happy about. So if you haven't gotten your scores yet- have hope!

got a 5, but thought i bombed the listening and speaking. im non-native

Okay. Update.

I got a 3. T_T I was sure I got at least a 4..

Like it says, i got a 5. and I agree the listening portions were phenomenally difficult.... i bet they curved the scores to reflect that... and hopefully theyll fix the test

I got a 5 :) :) :).......................

YEAH RIGHT, more like a 4. I'm not mad, although i still think i deserved that 5. i guess the curve, if there was one, didnt help us gringos. It's OK Sungchul you're going to Brown hehe!

I was a good student in Spanish, but thought the exam was amazingly hard. I studied for the exam, but slacked off when it was closer to the exam. I just went in there and tried and I got a 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Yay!!!!!!!!!!!

Non-native & I got a 5 - surprised since I thought I def bombed the listening portion - it was mad fast. I guess hanging around my gf's house helped more than I thought. I have to thank her parents for insisting I practice my Spanish with them.
