Any NY Metro People Going to the Welcome Events

<p>I've gotten invites for a brunch in East Hampton and now one for three dinners...one in Pelham NY, one in NJ and one in Manhattan.</p>

<p>My son is away for the summer and I'm alone, so I don't know if I'd feel completely weird going to any of these.</p>

<p>Though my s will be around - I won’t be…going on vacation. Don’t think he is interested in going…he met so many students he has been in touch with from orientation, he doesn’t feel the need to attend.</p>
