Any of you B.S. Physics guys go the engineering graduate route?

<p>I attend the University of Houston right now. Rice would be quite a bit more expensive and harder to get into! lol. If I got accepted into Rice, I would probably do whatever it took (i.e. loans) to actually pay for it and attend.</p>

<p>I’m thinking about going into MS in mech eng with a BS in physics as well…</p>

<p>Anyway, one of my concerns is:</p>

<p>If you have to take undergraduate level engineering courses to make up for deficiencies, doesn’t this add an extra year or so (plus an extra year’s worth of tuition fees)?</p>

<p>Generally speaking, what’s the difficulty difference between upper-division undergrad physics and graduate civil engineering? </p>
