If so, what kind of stuff do you participate in?

is it active?

Do you just have discussions or do you actually participate in activities relating to politics?

I wish we had one...

All we have is a Young Republicans Club... go figure.

you should make one

We don't have either here... and I don't want to be in either. I lean left, but not a Democrat.

Chrisr, you live in California... a blue state! Take jason's suggestion.

Well, what about Young Liberals?

i dont know if that even exists...

we only have young republicans at my school.

thank god

my school, which is mostly democrat :( , has neither

We have a Young Democrats of America, which is pretty much expected here, and a Teenage Republicans Club, mostly for the novelty, I think.

We have speakers come in a lot--our favorite state representative (Barbara Ballard), people from some liberal group called the Lawrence Coalition for Peace and Justice, people from KU.

In 2004, we hosted presidential debate viewing parties jointly with Teenage Republicans. These were really successful, and a lot of social studies teachers gave extra credit for attendance. :)

Recently, we had a Daily Show marathon.
