<p>What fun going through these videos. Some are not so hot but then you run across a real gem like Jim Gritschke. Wow! If he or his mom or dad are here on CC, would love to know if he's headed to college for theatre in the fall.</p>
<p>Thank you so much for your kind words. Jim unfortunately didn’t make the final cut in the contest, but truthfully it was more about how many people (friends, family, etc.) you could get voting for you in the early stages. I guess we didn’t do enough! 
The winner is quite talented however!</p>
<p>Jim is in community college and auditioning in the Chicago area for various parts - nothing landed yet, and he has not decided if and when he will go to a larger school yet.</p>

By the way, I happen to agree with you about the validity of results for this type of contest. It’s all about popularity and has little to do with actual talent. Tell him to keep working hard!</p>
