It's strange that something so big (!) is happening just TOMORROW, and there's not yet been a single thread devoted to the actual thing yet. Please. It's a behemoth. It's an absolute beast among math competitions, you just...no, no...you just can't beat it. :)

So I'm just hear to ask you guys if anyone here's doing it? If so, how is your history? How are you feeling?

And even if you're not taking it, may I ask why anyway? Are you too lazy (cough, you just suck) to study? Does your school not administer it? Do you consider it a big part of...just your HS career in general?

I’m a junior, and my calc BC teacher signed up our whole class. I’ve been busy with Scholastic Art and Writing, but I prob wouldn’t have prepped anyway. I’m neutral toward math, though I’ve been liking calc :)

I know I could qualify for AIME but my school doesn’t do it and it’s probably too late for them to order the B and I have jazz band rehearsal on the B date at a college.

I took a practice AMC test from 2003 the day before, but today’s AMC 12 was sooooo hard. Got ~80 on the practice and 51 on the real thing today!

lol I do AMC 10 still (what a loser… ), and I have to agree with you guys that this year’s test seemed much harder than the practice tests I tried. I think I did 20 and probably got 4 wrong lol…fail.

But I heard there’s always the B version, and that’s supposed to be easier?? (looks hopeful)
