@ Unifieds Kaitlin said they will be putting 40 on Priority Hold. A mix of boys and girls. They will pick from that pool for the class of 2019. Not sure if it is 20 and 20, but definitely not 40 girls. It ain’t over til it’s over :-). BAL y’all!!!
Thank you for being so informative @addicted2MT but last question, so you are notified if your placed on priority hold FIRST then they call you again if you are given an offer? Or do they just straight up tell the students who have a place in the company and aren’t told they’re on priority hold because they already have a place?
My D’s friends who have received offers were first put on PH, then they received a phone call with an offer.
My D is in the MT class of 2018 - she was called with an offer last year, and PH was never mentioned, I think every year it’s different. I know the waiting is difficult…but getting PH at this point is amazing! TXSTATE is a wonderful program and Kaitlin mentors, mothers and trains these kids beyond expectations. If your child received a PH, they must be very talented! Keep you and child’s spirit high!
@iammtmom - I think the PH is a formality this year to verify that the student has been academically admitted to the school as the kids have to reply to the PH notice noting that they are still interested an also have to provide their TXST student ID# in their reply. Several kids celebrated they were on PH, only to receive a call accepting them shortly thereafter…

Do any of you know if the email will come before the phone call or phone call before email and acceptd notification
I think all Priority Holds already received their emails via ACCEPT’D. Now they will either get a follow up email (also via ACCEPT’D) placing them on Waitlist or Re-directing them (sounds kinder than rejecting) OR the long-awaited-joy-giving phone call with an offer. 
My D just got a Priority Hold email this morning so don’t give up hope if you are still waiting to hear.
