shortnbproud- did you apply to the business school or as a business major, etc??

is that supposed to make it that much harder? i'm sorry to hear btw but if it's any consolation, with ur stats u'll definitely get somewhere GREAT. don't sweat it!

Hey,

I got into Penn State to the Eberly College of Science. Do you kno when financial aid packages are sent??

Yea, I got into the main campus. It's so hard to get into PSU main, that's why they always make you chose a secondary campus when you apply.

Boonies13: Financial aid packages come out late March.

Are desk light provided in the dorms?

Yes(10 chars)

Actually it depends where you live..in East and Pollock where the desks are built in generally there are only overhead lights in the rooms. I do not know what it is like in the other dorms. (My son, assigned to East, brought a desk lamp and the RA would not let him keep it because it was halogen. By the time we went in the hallway to retrieve the box so we could return it to the store, the box had been crushed and disposed of by the happy crew helping kids move in. Oh well.)
Anyhow here is the official list of what is in the residence halls:

Yeah. I was looking through that page last night, and I didn't know what overhead lights meant.

This is a typical East halls dorm room. There are 1 or 2 lights in the ceiling that you can't see and also that strip of white over the bulletin board and mirror is a light, but does not really lights the desk too well. As you can see, the kid brought a small desk lamp too.
I haven't found a photo of Pollock dorms yet, they have built-ins too but are a lot different configuration.
