Any one hear yet?

i just checked my status and i was accepted to the pharm program... i dont know if im going though

I was also admitted to the pharm program today. I'm now just waiting for any scholarship information, because that is ultimately going to determine if i go there or not. I'm not sure but hoping that it comes in the mail soon.

Did you find out on the status thing? I checked and it still has the stupid green circle. And that it was "received." :(

lol that's not a good sign...I got in to pharmacy too btw! it was so random...i checked it last night at like 9:55, the page refreshed and it had changed to a check. I'm waiting on scholarship too; otherwise I'm going to Northeastern

Can someone who got into pharmacy update stat.. I think I didn't get in because URI somehow didn't get my transcript when my school first sent it, so I ended up resending one after Christmas break... which nevertheless missed deadline.

I think my stat was competitive enough..
SAT 2120
SAT II's 800/800/770
GPA 4.14 weighted
Rank top 2.5%
Great EC's
Excellent Rec letters

ROFL i guess stats dont always matter that much:

SAT: 1980
SAT 2: didnt send bc they were like 600 and 500
Rank: Top 15%
GPA: 4.27 weighted

it does ^ I just missed deadline if you know how to read

I got into pharmacy school, so I'm pretty sure I know how to read :-P

I was just being sarcastic... well life goes on.

I know for those still waiting, not seeing the 'check' on your status is nerve racking. But, my son's check showed up on his page about an hour ago. Very similar stats as Senluck's. Hang in there I don't think URI is caught up on all the acceptances.

By the way, cipro30, no one is officially in the Pharmacy program until they get their acceptance letter from URI, check it out. Careful with your words, you may have to eat them.

^ it says college of pharmacy - accepted

Has anyone gotten their acceptance by mail yet for pharmacy?...just wondering when that's coming

I got into the physics department with a $14,000 scholarship over 4 years. So far it's the biggest in my school (instate). But this guy in my AP bio class thinks that he got 8,000 yearly but I don't think he did because the centennial scholarships are for tuition and instate tuition is less than 8 grand a year. I think? I wouldn't think he got more than me because I'm ranked higher and I did better on my SATs than he did. Oh well. I was really disappointed with the scholarship. Last year at my school a lot of kids with stats lower than mine got full rides but I guess state budget cuts led to less full scholarships. Unless my dad gets suddenly fired or something I don't think I'm going.

I'm out of state and got $9,750 annually for 4 years...but I'm pharmacy and they dont give anything the last 2 years

I got in with a 52k scholarship over four years (13k per year). Not sure if I'm going to attend because out of state and got a scholarship to an instate school that will make college costs 10k less per year. Certainly interested in attending but....never know. Good luck to all!

premed123, what school do you go to?
