So far as I can tell, only me and a friend have accepted appointments to NAPS. If anyone out there is a future classmate, I'd love to hear from you!!!

Rosa

I think I might. I have a letter from the Academy offering a conditional appointment to NAPs. What does "conditional" mean?

Hannah

Conditional means that barring a fatal accident or bad grades, you're pretty much accepted to NAPS. I got the same thing. So Congratulations!!!

Please IM me if you have anymore questions, you are the second person I've heard about going to NAPS.

Rosa

AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(*Jumping for joy with excitement!)

ITS FOR REAL!! I GOT THE LETTER AND YOU'RE RIGHT!!!! ALL I NEED TO DO IS FINISH MY DODMMERB, KEEP UP WITH MY GRADES, AND YAY!!!!! Wow! We are going to be classmates!!!! I know another girl from my high school who might go to NAPs. The admissions board is deciding whether to give her NAPs or a direct appointment to USNA. Nice to meet you, Rosa! Whoa, cool, you're from North Carolina? I live in Virginia.

Hannah

I felt the same way. I'm from North Carolina, New Bern. I have two friends who sit at my lunch table who are going to USNA, they got direct appointments.

Rosa

Good grief!

I went all alone, and you have TWO people at your table?

Wow.

Yeah, but i'm not on very good terms with them

you know the story. . .
