If you had guaranteed admissions to any one school not including the ivies, cal-tech/MIT/Stanford, what would you take and why

Williams; highly respected, good placement, smart, well-rounded peers, enjoyable atmosphere.

I'm torn between Northwestern, Boston College, Tufts, and UVA. From what I've read I like them all very much, but I need to visit and learn more before making an educated opinion.

Do I get scholarships? If so, how much? I would probably be between Duke, NU, Chicago, Swarthmore, and Georgetown.

i'd say williams. amazing. unfortunately, i stand no chance. heh. i did receive collegeboard mail from them which was a good self-esteem boost ... even if it doesn't mean anything. if i had to choose a big school, definitely unc! go heels!

AMHERST!... :p Like Williams, but better...hehe

UChicago i think

Rice is AMAZING....collaborative atmosphere, small size, great professor relationship w/undergrad students, residential college system, absolutely beautiful campus, 2nd endowment resources per undergrad student(behind Princeton) diverse, PLUS awesome research opps. and....i've been accepted already :-)

harvey mudd has excellent teaching and research. and you can take classes at caltech!

Swarthmore. Definitely Swarthmore.

Univ. of Chicago =)

Probably for me go something likeee

Duke
UVA
U chicago
Northwestern
Georgetown
Hopkins

and if i'm aloud Oxford and Cambridge on top respectively

Pomona!

However, Amherst would be up there as well!
GO SAGEHENS!

Pomona again, but I damn near went to Williams.

I'd say Rice, but I already have an acceptance from them.

Of places that I didn't apply to, I'd say maybe WashU St Louis.
