<p>From the looks of the other thread, no OOS applicants on CC have received notifications of any kind. Any hope for us at all?</p>
<p>I posted on the other thread that DS is an OOS B/K recipient from last year and has been asked to host OOS B/K prospective students when they come to interview for the B/K this year. I don’t have an exact number, but there are definitely OOS students invited again this year. They just may not be on CC.</p>

<p>I’d say. I thought it might have been due to the financial downturn and, in an effort to save some money, UMD gave the majority of the Banneker/Key scholarships to in-state students.</p>

<p>If I recall correctly, traditionally the majority of BK invites do go to IS. Of course there are OOS recipients, but I remember reading yrs past on this site that BK invites are similar to the attendance make up…75% IS, 25% OOS.</p>
<p>im from NY and i got an email for it probably a little more than a week ago. I had to RSVP by monday, February 15, for a March 5th interview</p>
