Hi Everyone~

Please post your thoughts/comments on AP US Government. Course load, easy, hard, the test, etc.

Also, do you think the class was easy or hard. Do you think the test was easy or hard? Was the material easy or hard to understand?

ANY info appreciated! :)

Thanks!

A LOT of people at my school find Gov difficult – completely the contrary from CC mainstream! xD I’m sure it’s quite easy…if one knows the material. hahaha

Hardest class at my school. I heard from CC that the exam is easy, but a harsh curve to get a 5.

What makes it so hard?? Is it the material?? The sheer amount of material? Is it hard to understand? Please advise! Thanks! :)

AP US Government and Politics is only moderately difficult. The best textbooks (by far) is Government in America - People, Politics, and Policy by Edwards, Wattenberg, and Lineberry. The best review book is AP American Government and Politics - Crash Course. Like AP Psychology, the course is driven by concepts. Teachers who breadth life into the concepts will make their classes interesting. Teachers who rattle off lists will make their classes arid. Students who take the course for a year have a big advantage since it is really only a semester course. Hope this helps.
