I am thinking about going into nursing (RN) and maybe later becoming a PA or NP.
would a loan of about $550 a month be manageable after graduation for an RN. (in school loan debt)
I'll probably live at home and settle before buying/renting a place to stay.

It would seem to be manageable on an RN’s salary, especially if you don’t mind working overtime or late shifts. There’s also an income based repayment option for Stafford loans if your starting salary is not what it needs to be. Nurses are eligible for certain loan forgiveness programs and hospitals seem to advertise that quite frequently in my area.

Yay I am so happy to hear that.
Because I’ve always wanted to do something in that field and for some reason ignored the fact that the school I applied to had a nursing program.
I just need to transfer to the program; the school said I could as long as I completed bio and chem in hs.
