Any other Caltech Rejects?

Just curious if anyone else had got rejected from Caltech and is now waiting for an MIT decision.

Well, I don't know yet if I was rejected from Caltech, but I'm waiting for the MIT decision.

I was waitlisted, but it just made me look more forward to the MIT decision!

meh, i got rejected from Caltech. just got it in the mail.

i put way more work into my MIT app than my caltech app.

I got rejected from Caltech...oh well

yep, that would describe me

I wonder what the % acceptance at MIT is for Caltech Accepted, Waitlisted, and rejects. Hopefully waitlisters do well because that would be me.

waitlisted, but mit has always been my top choice, so im hoping i get in

Rejected from Caltech EA :(

I was also rejected from Caltech.............I just gave a shot.......worked way more in MIT's app then Caltech..........i'm also looking forward to MIT's decision...best of luck you guys....hope you all will get into MIT

Same to you.

It's official, I was rejected from Caltech, but I also put a lot more effort into MIT's application, and I really feel it could be the right place. Now, let the tension increase until saturday.

Rejected from Caltech...Are there any chances for people rejected from Caltech to get accepted from MIT?...

My son was waitlisted at Caltech, accepted EA at MIT. I'm not going to bother to figure it out.

I guess this is becoming way too recurent: Rejected from caltech (it was quite obvious though; international with aid...), but I put way more effort on my MIT app (and my January SAT scores were better also)... omg I'm just too nervous!

Rejected at CalTech, but that was to be expected in the sense that I didn't put in a lot of effort and thought into my application, partly because I wasn't sure if I really wanted to go there. Anyway, MIT is my first choice so I'm really anxious about Saturday, way too anxious.

I was deferred and then waitlisted at Caltech, but I was accepted EA to MIT. QED.

I second LZfan.

Caltech - reject. MIT - probable reject. Reason: low SAT's. And by low I really mean low, especially for international. Math2: 690, Physics: 730. SAT 1: CR: 550, WR: 560, M: 780

ohooo.....brain5ide didn't you take your SAT's again......
