I just got an email that said Umich received my AP test scores.... hmmmmm.... weird.

Anyone else?

Was the email sent to your U-M email address or another one?

I did not receive an email from either. I tried checking Wolverine Access, but I cannot find the page that used to list the Transcripts and test scores that Michigan has recieved.

Purple you’re not alone, I received an email as well.

I got it on my gmail I think… weird

I have not received an e-mail either. I didn’t even realize that the college board has begun sending out AP scores. I was only aware of IB score reports arriving from people who’ve posted their’s on here.

I will keep a look out though . . .

No this was for current students. Or, people who have been there at least a year.

I got another email saying it was a mistake though.

Go into Wolverine Access, into the Student Center. Click on My Academics. Click on View my Academic Requirements. Scroll down and you should see if they applied your AP credits. It shows that my son’s AP credits were applied to specific courses, although it doesn’t show his AP grades. The grade for the courses shows as a “T” for transfer, I think. It should also show what classes you’re registered for. This is a really handy tool to see how your classes are applied to all the requirements.

I know, read what I said above.

It was a mistake by the admissions people, they sent out the email to current students on accident.

Actually, I received an email in my umich account and I am an incoming freshman.

No I mean the one I got, through my gmail, was a mistake. They sent out another email saying it was

I understand that. Thank you very much chemcolo for the directions!

Our U-M Freshman got an email on his UMich account telling him his AP’s had been applied… he went to Wolverine Access, Student Center, Academics, View Unofficial Transcript and jeez louize he has a year of credit already… not great for paying tuition in the more expensive “upperclassman” category next yr. It told him what classes he had been given credit for, but no scores. He has not received any scores in the mail from AP yet. Not sure I would have exactly asked for all those credits to have been applied.

Okay, I am really worried right now because no credit has been given to me due to the AP scores. Should I try emailing someone?

@Emzeel. Did you check your umich email address? If they have your scores, you should have received an email.

You should probably email someone from admissions.

I checked both my gmail and my umich as well as my wolverine access…no AP credit anywhere. Exactly whom should I email?

@jelp,

This isn’t not well known nor highly recommended, but you can have the registrar remove AP credits from your transcript to avoid paying upperclassmen fees a little earlier. It’s irreversible, and you’d probably to get an adviser on board to actually do it, but if the difference in tuition is a concern and some of those AP credits serve no purpose (especially classes that show up as 101X or something), then you have that option.

Yes that’s the concern, he got credit for a “generic” english and a “generic” history but he still has to take the general ed requirements (you can’t substitute an AP for them), so those particular AP’s don’t really do him any good. I think we will just suck it up and go with it, tho.
